The Finger Lakes Works Offices in Ontario, Seneca, Yates and Wayne County accept applications for youth employment and training programs year round. In-school or out-of-school youth, we are here to help you.

Summer Youth Employment Program
Through internships, employers across the country utilize student interns to address targeted projects, implement new initiatives, or assist with ongoing needs. Many businesses in our region, however, do not know what potential interns are out there and how to access them. This grant was designed to bolster the role of internships across our region - Ontario, Yates, Seneca, and Wayne Counties. Funding for the Finger Lakes Internship Program has now expired but interested local students are encouraged to contact Pat Gopen, Youth Systems Coordinator, for referrals to Finger Lakes employers and resources.
