Every October hundreds of Finger Lakes area high school students attend Finger Lakes Works...with their hands!, a skilled trades and advanced manufacturing career exploration event held in Seneca Falls.

GED grads having fun at 2011 Recognition event
There are many youth employment and training programs available here in the four county Finger Lakes region. Youth who are residents of Ontario, Seneca, Yates and Wayne Counties may be eligible for On the Job Training, Work Experience, Summer Employment, Internships, Career Counseling/Exploration, Job Readiness and Skills Training, GED classes, post-secondary education and other program opportunities.
