ACCES-VR (Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation) offers access to a full range of employment and independent living services that may be needed by persons with disabilities through their lives.  ACCES-VR starts with the presumption that all persons with disabilities can benefit from vocational rehabilitation services and should have opportunities to work in jobs integrated within their communities. VR Counselors guide individuals through service programs they need to reach their employment goals.

Over the years ACCES-VR has contributed to the FLWIB’s mission through the active involvement and participation on the Finger Lakes Works Consortium as well as working with career center staff and customers in an effort to ensure positive outcomes for job seekers and their employers.  This partnership has ensured that all job-seekers in the Finger Lakes have access to the services needed to be successful in the workplace.

“The FLWIB looks forward to continuing this partnership as we work together to supply the area’s employers with a talented workforce.” said Karen Springmeier, Executive Director, and Finger Lakes WIB.
